'I'm fully all in with Bayern' - Kane cools on Premier League homecoming

Kane marks his 100th goal for Bayern Munich

Harry Kane has stated that his interest in coming back to the Premier League has diminished and he is open to negotiate a new contract with Bayern Munich.

The prolific striker is presently midway through the four-year deal he inked when transferring to from Tottenham Hotspur for a substantial fee in the offseason of 2023.

The 32-year-old forward has scored an remarkable 103 goals in 106 games for the German team, helping them secure the 2024-25 Bundesliga title - which marked the initial major honor of his illustrious career.

Tottenham boss Thomas Frank has recently stated that he would be pleased to see Kane come back to England, where he lacks 48 goals to overtake Alan Shearer's all-time Premier League scoring feat of 260.

However, the England captain has now clarified that he is no longer as eager about returning home as he once was, and would certainly contemplate lengthening his stay in Bavaria.

"In terms of staying longer, I could absolutely see that," he stated.

"I spoke openly a couple of weeks ago that I have not had those discussions with Bayern yet, but if they were to occur I would be willing to talk and have an straightforward conversation.

"Obviously it hinges on how the next year or so progresses and what we attain together. Right now, I would say we are in a superb moment and I am not thinking about anything else.

"In terms of the Premier League, I don't know. If you had questioned me when I first left to go to Bayern, I would have said for sure I would come back.

"Now I have been there a couple of years I would likely say that has gone down a little bit, but I wouldn't say I would never go back.

"What I have learned in my career is that different opportunities and different moments happen and things fall in place. Going back to my first point with Bayern right now I am totally all in with Bayern."

Record-breaking Achievements and Future Ambitions

Kane is the all-time top marksman for both Tottenham and England and not long ago became the quickest player this century to hit 100 goals for a club playing in one of Europe's top five leagues, attaining the achievement in just 104 games for Bayern.

However, a title had avoided him until he won the German title last season.

Kane reveals that he was not sure how he would feel after breaking his trophy drought, but now feels it has made him eager for more success.

"When you win a title like I did last year, maybe it could be easy to go the other way and be like, 'OK I've done what I wanted to achieve'," he explained.

"But it's given me more inspiration to do more and be better. I think I've proven that this year.

"I was curious in how I would feel after winning a trophy. Obviously there's still a lot more I want to achieve in terms of other trophies and bigger trophies for sure.

"But I think it was always just, in my head, what I was going to feel like after I did achieve winning my first one.

"But for sure, I driven myself the other way in terms of being even better, eating even cleaner, doing more gym. Just trying to get the most out of what I've got right now."
